The best thing about Boston
Mishaal: Hmmm...the chowdah!

Thanks Mishaal! I met Mishaal the first weekend I was here, top bloke. For those not already in the know - chowdah (a.k.a. Clam Chowder) is a much loved New England recipe. A soup of sorts...

Clam Chowder:
10 lbs. clams, fish or seafood
1 1/2 lbs. salt pork, finely chopped
2 qt. onions, chopped
2 3/4 gal. potatoes, diced
1 1/2 gal. hot water
2 gal. hot milk
Salt, to taste
1 c. parsley, chopped

Next week I'll have convinced another bloke down the pub he's my friend and have another friendly fire for your delectation.
