Four days in Spain: Part 1

Sleep’s overrated. Or that’s the cavalier approach we adopted for out whirlwind four day trip to Spain anyway. Taking the red eye on Friday night, we landed in Malaga on Saturday to attend the beach wedding of our friends Mishaal and Sophie.

Over the last couple of years they’ve become good friends of ours, and we were particularly excited to share in their special day and meet their friends and family. In true wedding style the duel catalysts of alcohol and a dance floor worked their magic. This international mix of their family and friends certainly knew how to party! As the evening progressed into the morning we met Kuwaities, Swedes, American’s and more,.. all of whose accents and peculiarities palled next to the excitable Welsh and Scouse contingents! ;) All told there were guests strutting their stuff from over twenty different countries. The ceremony was beautiful, the surroundings lavish, and the occasion not something we’ll forget in a hurry.

Having finally crashed out at about five AM, no sooner had our heads hit the pillow than we were up again on route to beautiful Barcelona...

'Four days in Spain: Part 2' coming soon
