Happy New Year!

The two weeks I spent back in Manchester with family and friends this Christmas were excellent. I took absolutely tons of photos, but at the moment my USB cable is broken so I can’t get them onto my PC. Once past this hurdle, I’ll be sure to upload them and send round a link.

Owain came up and we hit the Manchester Wheel, the largest portable Ferris wheel in the world apparently. Had several nights out with Chris, Genna, Jim, Billy, Levis, Wendy, and Louise. Hit many drinking holes including some old haunts... The Lounge, Royal Oak, Revise, The Bar, Fridays, Revolution, Fab Cafe, Loaf, Baa Bar, Fat Cat Café, Tribeca, The Railway and The Met. Caught up with Gayle after her amazing nine months travelling round South America, and on the same night have a vague recollection of catching up with Alex… hmmm, evil Stella.

Saw my mum’s excellent photography that was chosen to be a part of an art instillation in a new apartment building. Step dad Mark played AntiGrav relentlessly at home, and got through to the Aerodome course… top stuff. Ate and chilled with step aunt Debbie and Harry. Had a great pre Christmas meal with Dad, Caroline, big brother Stuart and Nanna Kay. Emma, Simon P, Natalie, Andy, Eve and Ben all were all around to celebrate Andy’s birthday. New Year in Chorlton was great fun, as was my last night watching footy and grabbing curry with a group including the one and only Paul Haves.

It was wonderful to see everyone again, I missed you all loads. Thanks to all both sides of the Atlantic for the cards and presents, I have a stack of books to read! Which is a good job, ‘cause I’m starting to see what January in Boston is all about! Snowstorms have been hitting, and people (including myself) are dropping like flies with nasty colds.

At work we’ve begun a new project, which is very exciting. Hope you're all having a great start to the New Year, here’s to new experiences and good times in 2005!
