A few sunny days in Manchester

Infamous for its perpetual rain, luckily Manchester turned sunny for my whirlwind weekend back home seeing family and friends. It was really wonderful to see everyone again.

A few photo highlights…

My mum Penny and step dad Mark bathed in sun in the back garden at 24 Brundretts road.

My mums cat Kitty takes a liking to the garden furniture

This should be on the front cover of the game! Jim gets into the spirit of things, rocking out on the loading screen.

Billy getting down to his second Guitar Hero session

Chris and Genna in their new Manchester apartment. not long after these opening drinks we hit the northern quarter bars, and then as Genna found a second wind, the dependable Fab Cafe.

Chris and myself in aforementioned Fab Cafe... a top retro TV / film theme bar

Haves and Billy taking it easy at the canal side beer garden at Dukes 92

After a wondeful lunch at Mr Thomas's Chop House, my dad, Caroline and I took a stroll around Manchester. Past St Anne's sq, through the triangle and down to Urbis. The New look Manchester is getting more impressive each time I visit.

What a great few days, yet again a lively escapade (wasn't that an eighties tune - probably played at FAB) with Rob and the gang. A drunken first couple of days, and an easy chilled-out finale. Hope you enjoyed yourself!

my turn! my turn!

I'm picking up the TV tonight... so are we still on for Guitar Hero Party the American version?

Seeing as how I have so few friends, can I live vicariously through yours and your work crew?
