Four days in Spain: Part 2

There’s no way we were going to visit Spain and miss spending some time with my sister Michelle! So after crashing out at about five AM following the wedding, three hours later Ryn and I were up again and on route to beautiful Barcelona. We spent the first night catching up and devouring some traditional Catalan cuisine in Michelle’s new hometown of Sabadell.

The next morning we set off for Barcelona’s tourist trail and mostly revellied in Guadi’s astonishing architecture. We only had time to see the big two,the La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, but they were stunning. After that we strolled down the Ramblas, did some people watching over a cerveza and generally took in the relaxed barca vibe.

That night Aldo, a friend of Michelle’s, invited us to come hear him play drums with his blues band. They were great, and it was a wonderful way to conclude our whirlwind visit. It was great to see you again big sis! :)
