Attack of the blogs!

See those links on the right? They’re links to my friends and family’s blogs and web sites. Sharing news and pictures via blogs is rapidly becoming the 21st century catalyst for communication with flesh and blood friends and family. I hope I’m not invading anyone’s privacy by putting these links on my blog. With just one degree of separation I think there will be readers of my blog who would be interested to see what’s going on in the lives of a common friend or relative.

I’m going to call particular attention to Jim and Tessa’s Shanghai blog. People who know Jim will know he’s a great mate of mine who inspired me to move abroad with his own rampant enthusiasm for new experiences. Presumably in an effort to have the mother of all new experiences, he and his wife Tessa are hoping to move to Shanghai this year, and are recording their journey on this exciting blog.
